Mondays
Garden waste collections - if you have opted in to the chargeable garden waste collections these are collected on alternate Mondays. For further information see https://ilforms.wiltshire.gov.uk/WasteCollectionDays/index

Church Light Lunches - meet others and enjoy refreshments every Monday from 12pm to 1.30pm; all welcome.

Bell-ringing, 7pm to 8pm in St Michael & All Angels Church. No strength needed, expert and safe tuition given, all free. Teenagers to pensioners – all ages welcome! Please call Diane for more details – 07768 053116.

Tuesdays
Refuse collection (household waste).  Please note that some outlying parts of the parish and parts of Easton Piercy have waste collected on different days - to check when yours is, or for further information, head to https://ilforms.wiltshire.gov.uk/WasteCollectionDays/index

Mobile library every 4 weeks (fortnightly at the school). This vehicle has full disabled access. It arrives at the Old Post Office, Stubbs Lane (near the telephone box) at 10.10am until 10.30am every four weeks. It also visits the school every fortnight on a Tuesday from 9.15am to 10am, where it is open to the general public (and schoolchildren during term time).

Thursdays

DIARY

Saturday 6th December:
Christmas Fayre
, 10am - 1pm in the village hall, with stalls, a tombola, a raffle and refreshments.  It’s the perfect time to buy some presents and meet up with friends over a hot chocolate and mince pie. Please take cash!

Sunday 7th December:
Toy Service & Morning Prais
e, 9.30am in St Michael & All Angels Church.  The church will be collecting new toys and Christmas gifts for children, which will go to The Salvation Army for local families in need.  Please help to make a child’s Christmas happier - there will be a box in church for your gift donations if you can’t make it to the service.

Tuesday 9th December: 
WI, 7.30pm in the village hall; Christmas entertainment.

Saturday 13th December:
Community Christmas tree display
from 2pm in St Michael & All Angels Church.  Add a star to our Memory Tree to remember a loved one & enjoy a mince pie and hot chocolate.  At 4pm there will be Carols by Candlelight with Chippenham Town Band, followed by mulled wine and nibbles.  Come along and enjoy your festive favourites!

Saturday 31st January:
Race Night.  KSM WI is holding a Race Night for everyone on Saturday 31st January 2026.  Tickets are £15, which includes a chilli supper and your race card.  This is to fundraise for our chosen charities, Doorway & Air Ambulance.  Doors will open at 7pm and the first race is at 7.30pm.  Bring your own drinks.  Dress code is 'Fancy Hat or Flat Cap'.  This promises to be a fun evening.  Tickets from Chris at 9 The Close or call Denise on 07851 458400.

WI, 7.30pm in the village hall; Margaret Hiscock from Wiltshire Scrap Store is visiting for paper flower making.
