Mondays

Black box collection on alternate Mondays. Click here for the website giving details of collections.

Garden waste collections - if you have opted in to the chargeable garden waste collections these are collected on alternate Mondays. For further information see www.wiltshire.gov.uk/rubbish-collection-days.

Autumn Club, 2pm - 4pm on alternate Mondays (for dates, etc, please look at Autumn Club's page).

Bell-ringing, 7pm to 8pm in St Michael & All Angels Church. No strength needed, expert and safe tuition given, all free. Teenagers to pensioners – all ages welcome! Please call Diane for more details – 07768 053116.

Tuesdays

Mobile library every 4 weeks (fortnightly at the school). This vehicle has full disabled access. It arrives at the Old Post Office, Stubbs Lane (near the telephone box) at 10.10am until 10.30am every four weeks. It also visits the school every fortnight on a Tuesday from 9.15am to 10am, where it is open to the general public (and schoolchildren during term time). Pilates on Tuesday evenings (apart from WI night - see "Dates For Your Diary"). Beginners at 6pm to 7pm and Improvers at 7.15pm to 8.15pm. Thursdays

Brownies, term-time in the school hall. Please visit the Brownie's webpage.

Salsa classes, from 8.30pm in the village hall (please check dates below as Salsa doesn't run in the village hall when there's a parish council meeting). Beginners welcome. Run on a drop in and dance, pay-as-you-go basis by our new instructor, Anthony. Bring your own refreshments and no stilettos please. Details from Linda Durno on (01249) 750514.

Fridays

Refuse collection on alternate Fridays. Bank holiday collections link. 
Blue lidded plastic & cardboard wheelie bin collection on different alternate Fridays to the refuse and garden collections.

Women Out Walking
WOW meets each month, 10am at the end of The Close, for a gentle walk and friendly chat. Details from Delcia Fussell on (01249) 750529. Walk dates below - please note that WOW walks are dog-free.

Fish & chips night at Kington St Michael Club, from 5pm to 8pm - to eat in or take away. Sausages, burgers, veggie burgers and chicken nuggets.  Please note that the free delivery service within the village (from 5pm - 6pm, with cash on delivery) will end on March 3rd.  The Club now offers GLUTEN FREE fish and chips, on request. Please telephone in advance on Friday evenings from 5pm, on (01249) 750336.

Dog Training
Every Friday evening in the village hall; to book a place please contact Julie on (01249) 650062.

Friday 5th May:
Women Out Walking

Monday 8th May:
1. Autumn Club
, 2pm in the vilage hall, including a bingo session.

2. Film night in the village hall.  Showing "Sully" (12A), starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney; a biographical drama directed by Clint Eastwood. Doors open 7pm, with the main film starting at 8pm.  Tickets £6 on the door or in advance from the village shop from May 1st.  Refreshments available.  Details from Kay Sambell on (01249) 750205.

Tuesday 9th May:
1. Curry Night
, 7pm - 9pm in Kington Club, with a variety of curries (see the Club's page), including vegetarian options. Call (01249) 750336.

2. WI (KSM), meeting at 7.30pm in the village hall for resolutions.  The competition is for a spring arrangement in a tea cup.

2. Quiz Night, in the village hall.  Doors open 7.30pm, quiz starts at 8pm; £20 per team (max 4 people) if £5 each.  Grand raffle with great prizes to be won.  Tickets will be available from the village shop or contact fundraising@acornspreschool.org.  In aid of Acorns Pre-school.

Monday 15th May:
All Angels WI
, 8pm in the village hall.  Have you always wanted to try your hand at life drawing?  Well, come along and have a go; there will be a life drawing teacher from the local college, and her model.

KSM Shop's 10th Anniversary Celebration
, noon to 4pm in the village hall.  To include various stalls, barbecue, Pimms & beer, refreshments, raffle etc.  Village clubs and organisations will be asked if they would like to join in the fun.

, 8pm in the village hall.   All Angels very own Liz will be teaching how to make Dorset buttons. The creations can easily be made into jewellery, little hanging decorations or just used as buttons.

Fun in the Sun returns to Kington St Michael this summer. These FREE multi-sports sessions are for boys and girls age 5 – 11 and take place on 24th & 31st July and 7th & 14th August from 2.30pm to 4pm at the recreation field (if it’s raining then the venue will be the village hall).
Activities include athletics, dodge ball, football, hockey, rounders, cricket and basketball. There are 36 places available per session with first come, first served for each session.
Consent forms can be downloaded from www.wiltshire.gov.uk/leisure-fun-in-the-sun or collect from the village shop nearer the time. Consent forms must be completed in advance and returned at the first session to be attended.

Saturday 29th July
Flower, Produce & Craft Show, 3pm in the village hall, with admission by donation, followed by an auction of produce at 4pm. Tea and cakes and a raffle.

, meeting at 7.30pm in the village hall, when Richard Shipps will talk about "Growing for Showing".  The sompetition is for a gardening tip.

Tuesday 13th March:
WI (KSM)
, meeting at 7.30pm in the village hall for the Annual Meeting, including the election of committee, officers and the presentation of the annual report and financial statement.  The competition is for four fairy cakes with an Easter theme.

Tuesday 10th April:

, meeting at 7.30pm in the village hall, with a talk from Kathryn Brooke entitled "Having the Guts to be Healthy".  The competition is for a gut-friendly recipe.
