Road Closure, 31st August - Honeyknob Hill

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure of: Honey Knob Hill (Part), Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8226)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Honey
Knob Hill (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Grove Lane
for a distance of approximately 440m in a north westerly direction.
To enable: Gigaclear Limited to carry out location and clear blockage for a fibre installation and associated works.
Alternative route: via C154 (unaffected length) – Woodbarn Farm Road – C72 – C172 – C154 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 31st August 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to
complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely
due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration
of 18 months.

Road Closure, 19th - 30th September - Grove Lane

Temporary Closure of: Grove Lane (Part), Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8254)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Grove Lane (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Town Close to its junction with Easton Piercy.
To enable: Wessex Water to carry construction of connection point for mains replacement scheme and associated works.
Alternative route: via Grove Lane (unaffected length) – C154 – C153 – B4039 – C86 – Cromhall Lane – Easton Piercy and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19th September 2022 and the closure will be required until 30th September 2022. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Footpath Closures, from 19th September for 6 Months

Temporary Closure of: Footpath 12 (Part), Footpath 21 (Part) and Footpath 26, Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8256)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:
A) Footpath 12 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Grove Lane to its junction with Footpath 41, Kington St Michael.
B) Footpath 21 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 12, Kington St Michael.
C) Footpath 26, Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 21, Kington St Michael.
To enable: construction of 1640m of water supply pipe.
Alternative route: via existing alternative highways and rights of way.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19th September 2022 and the closure will be required for 06 months. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.

Temporary Closure of: Kington Lane (Part), Kington St Michael and Stanton St Quintin (Ref: TTRO 8258)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Kington Lane (Part), Kington St Michael and Stanton St Quintin; from the road outside its property known as Upper Swinley Farm, Kington St Michael to the road outside its property known as Leaze Farm, Stanton St Quintin.
To enable: Openreach to carry out overhead works to network in safety and associated works.
Alternative route: via Kington Lane (unaffected length) – C72 – Woodbarn Farm Road – C154 – Stanton Lane and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 22nd September 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
