Stubbs Lane Closure 3rd - 13th January 2023

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure of: Stubbs Lane (Part), Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8386)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Stubbs Lane (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Allington Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a northerly direction.
To enable: Wessex Water to carry out excavation to install water mains and other associated works.
Alternative route: via C153 – C154 – Stubbs Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and the closure will be required until 13 January 2023. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

16th January - 17th February 2023: Allington Lane closed to through traffic from its junction with Stubbs Lane to the junction with Kington St Michael Road (C154) for five weeks.
Access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and refuse collections during the closure, and all affected roads will be open over the Christmas period.

Temporary Closure of: Footpath 12 (Part), Footpath 21 (Part) and Footpath 26, Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8256)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:
A) Footpath 12 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Grove Lane to its junction with Footpath 41, Kington St Michael.
B) Footpath 21 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 12, Kington St Michael.
C) Footpath 26, Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 21, Kington St Michael.

To enable: construction of 1640m of water supply pipe.
Alternative route: via existing alternative highways and rights of way.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19th September 2022 and the closure will be required for 06 months. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
