Wiltshire CouncilSection 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984Temporary Closure of: C154 (Part), Kington St Michael and Kington Langley (Ref: TTRO 8610)Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
C154 (Part), Kington St Michael and Kington Langley; from approximately 40m north of its junction with Allington Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in a southerly direction.To enable: Wessex Water to carry out final connection of new water main to existing pipework and associated works.Alternative route: via C154 (unaffected length) – A350 – A420 – B4039 – C86 – C72 – C154 (unaffected length) and vice versa.The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.This Order will come into operation on 4th April 2023 and the closure will be required for 3 days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. Temporary Closure of: Footpath 12 (Part), Footpath 21 (Part) and Footpath 26, Kington St Michael (Ref: TTRO 8256)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:
A) Footpath 12 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Grove Lane to its junction with Footpath 41, Kington St Michael.
B) Footpath 21 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 12, Kington St Michael.
C) Footpath 26, Kington St Michael; from its junction with Bridleway 22, Kington St Michael to its junction with Footpath 21, Kington St Michael.
To enable: construction of 1640m of water supply pipe.
Alternative route: via existing alternative highways and rights of way.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19th September 2022 and the closure will be required for 06 months. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
