Mondays
Garden waste collections - if you have opted in to the chargeable garden waste collections these are collected on alternate Mondays. For further information see https://ilforms.wiltshire.gov.uk/WasteCollectionDays/index

Sing and Sign classes are in the village hall on Mondays from 9.45am - 2pm (the time depends on the baby's age), with their long running and award-winning baby signing classes. Have you ever wondered what your baby wants to say? Babies at Sing and Sign enjoy these fun music classes and are able to use signing to share their needs, wants and interests before speech.  There are three different courses, suitable for babies between 1 month to 2 years. Church Coffee Corner - meet others and enjoy refreshments every Monday from 11.30am - 1.30pm; all welcome.

Bell-ringing
, 7pm to 8pm in St Michael & All Angels Church. No strength needed, expert and safe tuition given, all free. Teenagers to pensioners – all ages welcome! Please call Diane for more details – 07768 053116.


Tuesdays

Refuse collection (household waste).  Please note that some outlying parts of the parish and parts of Easton Piercy have waste collected on different days - to check when yours is, or for further information, head to https://ilforms.wiltshire.gov.uk/WasteCollectionDays/index

Mobile library
every 4 weeks (fortnightly at the school). This vehicle has full disabled access. It arrives at the Old Post Office, Stubbs Lane (near the telephone box) at 10.10am until 10.30am every four weeks. It also visits the school every fortnight on a Tuesday from 9.15am to 10am, where it is open to the general public (and schoolchildren during term time).

Thursdays

Monday 29th August:
KSM Nymph Hay Maniacs
, a 4km route, with obstacles around Nymph Hay woods. Start and finish on KSM QE2 Field. Race starts at 3pm and BBQ will be lit at 3.30pm. Take along your own food. Race entry tickets, £10, will be available from Kington Café from Tuesday 26th July. Proceeds raised will cover the portaloo hire and event materials. Any reserves will be put towards improvements at KSM QE2 Field.

2. Teddy Bear Parachute Day, 2pm - 4pm at St Michael & All Angels Church. Take along any soft toy brave enough to make the parachute jump from the church tower. A special feature this year will be an exhibition of ‘Lockdown Memories’. Be it a craft, baby or pet that helped you through, please bring them along to be included in the display inside the church.

WI meeting, 7.30pm in the village hall, with a talk about the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.
